We were at the Panorama restaurant for the Lunch buffet today. The starters, salads and the desserts were good. But, the main courses were too simple. This was not something I expected from a Cinnamon hotel. The vegetarian options were very limited. I was disappointed with the options that were available. Definitely not worth the price. The staff were were friendly and the service was good. But the food must have been a lot better.

Had a great experience at Cinnamon Citadel. Hospitality and customer service is really great at the hotel. Staff is very helpful and friendly. The food was so delicious. Facilities were really good and the rooms were well maintained and clean. All those gave us a great experience and we won't think twice about visiting again.

The best stay ever. The environment was pleasant and welcoming. Both check-in and check-out were professionally handled and easy. The hotel is well maintained. The beds were very firm, too firm for my liking. The food was good. Would definitely stay there again !!!

One of the best hotels in Kandy. Nice rooms, very clean and spacious.Very helpful and friendly staff!Good food at the buffet, Had a good varieties.Special thanks to Restaurant Manager Nissanka, he gave us a excellent service..Had my first anniversary here and they provided the cake as well..Highly recommended !!!

Amazing experience staying here. Wonderful property, friendly and supportive staff! Food is extremely delicious, wide variety of food available. There’s a great swimming pool and landscaping is beautiful. Being a river side property, it is very clean and well managed. Beautiful views and amazing location.

The Hotel is situated not too far from the city yet in a beautiful location by the river. The open concept in the reception area brings in the cool atmosphere of kandy.The rooms are clean and tidy with private balconies. Very helpful and friendly staff. Food is average hotel meals, simple and tasty.

Very helpful and friendly staff! They were very attentive and accommodating.Had a small celebration here and they provided the cake as well.Good food at the lunch buffet - wide variety and very tasty.Beautiful views of the Mahaweli river from the poolside, with comfortable bean bags and chairs as well for a good hang out spot.Was only possible to have a short stop this time, but would love to re-visit and stay longer.

What a great place to stay, the environment is very calm and mind-blowing. We have stayed here twice and would like to come back, again and again, to enjoy the calmness here. The food was awesome and It is highly recommended to anyone. The staff was very friendly and the rooms and washrooms were also clean and tidy. If you are trying to visit with elders it is better to select a room close to the lobby area.

Stayed there for a one night and we were satisfied with the food and the service. Everything was well maintained. Staff were enthusiastic out of all. For lunch they had a set menu and dinner and breakfast had a buffet. I honestly enjoyed the set menu than the buffet. But overall it was a nice stay for us!

Great hotel near the river in the heart of kandy. Very close to everything. Nice location. The rooms are great and large. Also has a good outdoor pool. Has excellent food, very professional, helpful and friendly staff. Definitely recommended for a stay in Kandy.

Good rooms, comfy beds and washrooms with bathtub for deluxe rooms. The buffets have great variety and delicious definitely. Swimming pool is clean and eyes don't hurt ? but you better make reservations via a call than through the website. Can be inconvenient at times like payments that don't go through but printing as completed

Food is good for a four-star restaurant. However, the hotel has the most confusing booking system. Even though they ask to deposit money to make reservations we still have to make the full payment at the hotel, unlike other hotels we have stayed at. The reception staff is very good at raising their voices instead of diluting any confusion. You also have to pay much more than what is mentioned in the confirmation. I would say avoid this hotel as there are much better options for 4-star hotels.

Staff was very friendly and supportive. They provided the early check in facility and late check out facility too. Food was good with so many verities and the location is so beautiful and very calm to stay. We could get super experience in Citadel andfelt like the best hotel among the others which I stayed before. Thank you for the great service !

We visited this hotel a couple of days ago for a night on full board basis. The room we got was very clean and quite spacious. The food was brilliant ! Had a good variety for the vegetarians as well. The staff was very kind and helpful. Would love to visit Cinnamon Citadel again !

Nice and cozy rooms, very clean and spacious.Buffet is extremely good have so much variety you won't get at other hotels.Staff is extremely friendly and caring.Have a small garden towards the river and can go on boat rides if interested.Enjoyed the stay very much.

One of the best resorts in Kandy. It is a 4 star resort but deserves 5 stars. Ample vegetarian options in the buffet. Fairly international crowd. Staff was the best part here.Location is fantastic, besides the river amidst pleasing greenery. Prices are also very reasonable for the type of property.

We visited the hotel end of the February and staff was very friendly and helpful. But they forgot to provide the welcome drink. They provided early check-in facility as well. The food was really good and delicious. They have well maintained garden area and pool area as well. Room service is good. We had a great stay. Thank you cinnamon citadel team for helping us with the reservation and all…!
